OH MY GOD. I AM WEEPING. WHEN I'M MORE COHERENT, I'LL REALLY POST. But...NO. Martha...Sarah...Luke...Maria...Clyde...Jack...Gwen...Ianto... I know they didn't ACTUALLY die but it still hurt. 

Oh my GOD. Everyone was so HUMAN in this. Like, other than that bloody alien, no-one was the bad guy. They all had their good and bad moments. LOL, emo kid. Fantastic.
Anyway, I liked how the Doctor thought he could handle it and that lovely bit with him saying things to see if it would know what he was going to say. Classic.

The Sontaran Strategem
From the very start, I loved the atmosphere of this episode. I'm not sure what it was, but it all felt very Classic Who to me. Especially later with the alien talking while you could only see his hand. Or UNIT being there at all. Or the rich, classic British actor accent of the Sontaran leader.
